New Certification for Urimat

Urimat secures new awards

Urimat products have recently been certified in the USA by IAPMO (international Association of Plumbing and Maintenance Officers) and are now officially recognised as meeting the terms of the ANSI Z.124.9 standard. This means Urimat is now listed with the UPC (Uniform Plumbing Code) and the products are officially certified for the US market.

The ANSI Z.124.9 standard and the UPC are recognised as the basis for certification in many other countries around the world. This has greatly assisted Urimat in their goal of achieving WaterMark certification in Australia. The WaterMark is a certification trademark owned by Standards Australia Limited and is used in relation to water supply, sewerage, plumbing, sanitation and drainage products.

Along with the Waterwise Marque award in the UK and other prestigious awards in other countries, these recent awards would confirm that Urimat products are well advanced on the road to worldwide approval and acceptance as both a high quality and ecologically convincing product.
