Improving health services for children in Wielkopolskie region, Poland

The construction of Children’s Health Centre in Poznan, north-west Poland, is set to transform paediatric services across the Wielkopolskie region. The project, which includes the purchase and installation of equipment, brings a number of existing medical services under one roof to improve quality of care for children and their families.

The new building is part of the existing ‘Specialised Health Care Team for Mother and Child Hospital Group’ which operates in seven locations across Poznan. Three of these sites have moved to the new facility with the Rehabilitation Centre for Children, based in the suburb of Kiekrz, to join in the future. With a floor area of 35 900m2, the new centre is 55 % larger than the existing sites, which are now too small to cater for the number of patients. This newly built state-of-the-art paediatric hospital in Poland is equipped with the latest medical technology and is one of the largest paediatric hospitals in Poland.

Higher standards
